    Responsibilities

    The Wealth Management Sales Assistant is a service and sales support position, typically providing dedicated operational, marketing, trading, business development and sales support to multiple financial advisors. The Sales Assistant is responsible for enhancing the client experience by providing exceptional client experience, utilizing strong organizational, communication and problem solving skills.  Assist in safeguarding client assets, understanding firm policies, procedures and digital capabilities that will allow them to interact with Financial Advisor teams as well as new and existing clients.

    • Performs data entry and processes paperwork for new accounts including ongoing maintenance and customer changes.
    • Consults on and executes advisory and brokerage trade orders including stocks, bonds, mutual funds, ETF's and systematic buy/sale orders
    • Manages marketing initiatives (calling/digital/mailing campaigns) utilizing various technology including CRM, broker-dealer resources and other third party providers
    • Utilizes CRM system to capture client/prospect activities, notes and opportunities
    • Solicits new business and referrals by building sound and strong relationships with banking center partner and clients
    • Maintains and updates compliance records and files
    • Performs cash management functions
    • Answers telephone calls, coordinates appointments, conveys messages and monitors the flow of email and written communications

    Qualifications

    • High School diploma or GED; College degree desired.
    • 2 years of industry related experience; prefer financial services industry experience
    • Series 7, 63/65 or 66 License and Texas Life & Health Insurance License (or ability to acquire within 120 days)

    Skills:

    • Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and MS Word; basic keyboarding and calculator skills; must be able to do simple math and carry out written instructions
    • Lifting in an office setting may be required up to 30lbs.
