    Responsibilities

    The Loan Document Preparer is responsible for providing accurate and necessary documents in accordance with approval criteria, underwriting specifications, regulatory requirements and policy within a limited timeframe to perfect bank's lien or position. The individual ensures the terms & conditions, in which the loan was approved, are met.

    • Prepares loan documents
    • Analyzes loan details to confirm adherence to all legal and bank requirements
    • Interprets loan details to confirm adherence to the approved loan agreement
    • Communicates with a wide variety of individuals regarding sensitive and timely information
    • Obtains missing documents from frontline personnel
    • Evaluates documents to minimize risk
    • Identifies and explains documents to be presented
    • Orders, reviews, and files third party documents such as UCC 1, UCC 3, etc.

    Qualifications

    • High School diploma or equivalent educational/work experience
    • 3 years document preparation experience in CRE, C&I, and Consumer lending
    • Experience with loan documentation systems such as LaserPro and Wolters Kluwer

    Skills

    • Requires knowledge of loan related regulations, bank policies and required documentation; ability to recognize loan documentation deficiencies
    • Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and MS Word
    • Work occasionally requires more than 40 hours per week to perform the essential functions of the position
    • Lifting in an office setting may be required up to 30lbs.
