    The Loan Review Analyst is responsible for monitoring the quality of the loan portfolio to ensure credit standards are maintained and loans conform to established policies. The position may assist in the classification of loans, may report review findings to management and loan officers, and may make recommendations for adjustments to the loan portfolio to mitigate present or future risks on problem loans.

    • Participates in credit and policy conformance reviews for loan portfolios across the bank
    • Prepares monthly and quarterly reports detailing the activity in each of the lending products and provides to management
    • Verifies quality, completeness and accuracy of supporting loan documentation and analysis
    • Conducts written reviews of large commercial and real estate borrower relationships to summarize credit quality based on financial trends
    • Conducts portfolio reviews of interim construction loans and subsidiary portfolio reviews


    • Bachelor's degree in finance or business, or equivalent educational experience preferred; will consider a combination of college courses and three to five years similar or related experience
    • 3 years related experience in a banking environment, such as regulatory, financial analysis and credit review experience required
    • Experience or training in financial statement analysis preferred



    • Reviews small to moderate sized loans and analyzes trends from balance sheets, income statements and cash flow statements to determine financial condition and debt service coverage of borrower relationships
    • Intermediate skills in Microsoft Excel and MS Word
    • Work occasionally requires more than 40 hours per week to perform the essential functions of the position
    • Lifting in an office setting may be required up to 30lbs.
