    The Loan Center Manager is responsible for leading a centralized business and consumer loan support team with primary responsibilities for underwriting, processing, and documentation. The Loan Center Manager is responsible for executing on the strategic business plan to support the bank's lending objectives for production, quality, efficiency, and regulatory compliance.

    • Create and maintain efficient customer- focused processes
    • Manages loan documentation - small business, commercial, and consumer
    • Manages loan origination support team which includes underwriting and processing for small business and consumer lending
    • Identifies best practices to streamline processes and procedures to maximize effectiveness of the department/group
    • Manage high level development of centralized loan systems with automated approval algorithms
    • Satisfies audit and regulatory requirements through the effective management of risk
    • Resolves loan origination related problems both internally and externally


    • Bachelor's degree or equivalent educational/work experience
    • 12 years experience in a lending environment with a strong emphasis on various loan underwriting requirements
    • Experience in a centralized loan environment and automated loan systems like nCino and Newgen
    • Experience in meta-data analysis and credit scoring algorithms


    • Requires proven management experience in a complex, diverse environment, managing groups of 8 or more employees
    • Demonstrated ability to persuade and influence others both in groups and individually
    • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and MS Word
    • Travel to a variety of locations to perform work and/or attend meetings as required
    • Work occasionally requires more than 40 hours per week to perform the essential functions of the position
    • Lifting in an office setting may be required up to 30lbs.
