The Data Center Manager is responsible directly or through others for designing, developing, documenting and implementation of a data center infrastructure environment. This includes disaster recovery, high availability, capacity planning, and information security. Serving as a seasoned subject matter expert, the individual will apply leadership and management skills to establish collaborative partnerships with accountability for executing against the corporate business strategy to achieve organizational goals.

  • Develops metrics and reporting required to demonstrate effective management of assigned area of responsiblity
  • Develops and analyzes models for determining capacity needs; supports capacity planning for business application deployments
  • Monitors and manages to include the reporting on capacity and performance
  • Develops technical flow diagram and other schematics necessary to ensure a complete understanding of the technical environment
  • Develops and executes the strategy over assigned area and contributes to the overall corporate technology strategy
  • Manages and maintains a technical hybrid infrastructure consisting of public/private cloud and on-premise infrastructure


  • Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent combination of coursework and work experience
  • 3 years of effective management of service providers in a comanaged environment
  • 5 years of technical infrastructure management experience
  • 3 years experience with Cloud and Hyper-Converged Infrastructure (HCI) technologies (laaS, DaaS, DWaaS, etc...)
  • 3 years managing VDI
  • 3 years experience with MicroSoft Azure and Office 365, Advance Disaster Recovery and Data Protection
  • 2 years managing HCI such as Vx-Rail or Nutanix
  • Prefer advance proficiency with HCI - Nutanix/VxRail, VDI - Citrix/VMWare Horizon, SAN - Netapp/EMC, VMWARE 6.5/NSX; CISCO Network Technologies to include but not limited to Nexxus 5000 series, CISCO Voice; MicroSoft Technologies like Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, File and Print; and Wireless technologies such as Aruba and 802.1x, CISCO UCS



  • Strong proficiency in the use of MS Excel, MS Word, MS PowerPoint, MS Project and MS Visio
  • Travel to a variety of locations to perform work and/or attend meetings as required
  • Work occasionally requires more than 40 hours per week and after hours on-call services to perform the essential functions of the position
  • Lifting in an office setting may be required up to 30lbs
