This position must have good technical knowledge and be able to communicate effectively to understand the problem and explain its solution. Additionally, the individual works with staff on received Service Desk calls to expedite resolution of technical needs/issues.

  • Participates in On-Call schedule rotation
  • Work within a team environment in a dynamic Service Desk/Call Center environment
  • Takes incoming technical support calls, or responds to other requests, to install, configure, and troubleshoot various types of peripherals connected to computers, IP Phones, and the network
  • Trains users on supported hardware, software and office automation solutions
  • Uses ticketing system to log and monitor tickets
  • Must be able to solve customer problems and provide solutions to technical issues
  • Perform other technical duties as assigned.


  • High School diploma or GED
  • One (1) year experience in a Help Desk environment or equivalent work experience
  • MCSA and/or CompTIA A+ and Network+ Certifications; A+, Microsoft, or Cisco certifications preferred



  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and MS Word
  • Lifting in an office setting may be required up to 30lbs
