    Responsibilities

    The Project Manager is responsible for managing the resources of multiple small projects or phases of a larger project to ensure projects are completed within an established scope, time, and cost. The individual must be familiar with project objectives and the role and function of each team member to effectively coordinate the activities of the team and serve as liaison between team members and functional area management requesting project.

    • Defines project scope, business requirements, and outcomes
    • Communicates project status, timeline, and new process to employees, team members, and all levels of management.
    • Identifies appropriate resources needed, and develops schedules to ensure timely completion of project
    • Applies leadership and management skills to establish collaborative partnerships and lead cross-functional and cross divisional teams to achieve swift completion of projects
    • Researches industry processes and provides recommendations for implementation
    • Identifies and implements the use of technology and resources in new ways to accomplish established goals

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree or equivalent educational/work experience
    • Project management experience in all phases of project life cycle from definition to build, deploy and develop post implementation control plans
    • 5 years of progressively responsible and directly related work experience in managing smaller projects or phases of largers projects

     

    Skills

    • Individuals have strategic responsibilities and strong leadership skills to ensure appropriate staffing and organizational structures are in place
    • Strong verbal and written communication, customer service, organizational, time management, and multi-tasking skills
    • Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and MS Word
    • Travel to a variety of locations to perform work and/or attend meetings as required
    • Lifting in an office setting may be required up to 30lbs
