Responsibilities

The HRIS Analyst is responsible for leading Human Resources Information Systems initiatives including system implementation, interfaces, upgrades, process enhancements, reporting and data analytics. The role partners with technical support on HR system projects to resolve system problem. The HRIS analyst is responsible for introducing, automating and enhancing business processes to make Human Resources more efficient and effective.

  • Ensures data accuracy, integrity and reliability is maintained in the HRIS systems
  • Provides functional and technical guidance to Human Resources staff and end users of HR systems
  • Creates and provides department and bank wide reports; ad hoc and customer data queries
  • Analyzes and reports on recruiting and retention metrics
  • Tracks and maintains suspense file for commitments made in offer letters and employment agreements
  • Performance reconciliations and audits of human resources and payroll data
  • Administers the performance and appraisal program
  • Calculates and pays benefits billings and tracks insurance reimbursements.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems or related area or equivalent educational/work experience
  • 5 years of systems analysis and reporting experience
  • 2 years of experience working on a project team in a leadership role
  • 3 years in relational database experience (MS Access or similar)
  • 3 years Human Resources experience with a focus on HRIS and/or Information Technology or HRIS Analyst role preferred
  • ECI/VIBE software experience preferred
  • Financial Services or Banking experience preferred

 

Skills

  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel with advanced experience in sophisticated data manipulation and analysis techniques.
  • Must be able to work in a team environment and able to utilize reporting tools to understand the software development life cycle.
  • Strong understanding of system processing and data with strong analytical and technical skills.
  • Must have excellent customer service, organizational, time management and multitasking skills.
  • Must be able to lift, in an office setting, up to 30 lbs.
