Responsibilities

The Customer Care Unit Specialist provides a consistently positive and professional customer service experience via telephone and web delivery in a call center environment. You will assess customer needs, open deposit accounts, identify other opportunities, and direct customers to the appropriate personnel for further assistance via inbound and outbound calls. The Customer Care Unit Specialist also sells and cross-sells Bank products and services.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum three years banking experience with a preferred concentration in the area of sales, deposits and consumer lending
  • Previous call center experience preferred
  • Ability to learn products, services and procedures quickly and accurately and explain concepts clearly to customers
  • Excellent customer contact skills; strong listening skills; comfortable asking customers questions about their financial situation
  • Self-motivated, assertive, performs well in a team environment to meet goals
  • Strong problem solving and decision making skills
  • Basic Computer Skills
  • Proven sales/referral ability
